In co-operation with the Rathaus für Kultur, Dogo is showing the works of artists Aaro Murphy, Jakob Jautz, Maja Renn and Meret Schüpbach, which have been created in the residence in recent weeks. The ‘Kultur Nebedusse’ festival provides the backdrop, offering concerts and DJ sets alongside the artists' works. All of this - surrounded by woods and meadows, in other words ‘Nebedusse’.
Ephemeral works with the forest:
The forest is made up of many forests. It is a place of recreation, a habitat and a cultural landscape and changes its appearance depending on the season. An ecosystem and contemporary witness that offers protection for many creatures. It is a source of inspiration for fairy tales, mysticism and magic and its wood finds its way into practically all areas of human and animal life. For the Dogo Artists 2025, the forest is a fertile starting point. They develop site-specific, temporary works about, for and with the forest. Their artistic explorations open up new perspectives on this multifaceted space between nature, culture and imagination.
About the Dogo Residents:
Aaro Murphy combines video, sound, scent and installation to question the interplay of climate, body and technology. Jakob Jautz moves between dance, circus, installation and activism - his work forms a dialogue with landscapes and ecosystems. Maja Renn explores the interconnectedness of species - currently fungal networks - and brings them to life visually through dance performances. Meret Schüpbach walks and makes notes: sentences, lists, texts; she works in a process-orientated and cross-media manner, performatively and installatively. She is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Art at the HSLU - Design Film Art.
The ‘ephemeral works with the forest' programme is not completely barrier-free, as it takes place partly in the forest. The musical programme is mainly barrier-free. Detailed information on the entire programme, travel and camping can be found at the Rathaus für Kultur (in German, don't hesitate to mail us, if you have questions).
